Production process

Description

The alloy plate is heated to the temperature above 30 ~ 50℃ where all ferrite
is converted into austenite. The alloy plate is held for a period of time and then cooled slowly with the furnace. During the cooling process, the austenite changes again, which can make the steel microstructure become fine.

The workpiece is heated to the temperature of 20 ~ 40℃ above which the alloy
plate begins to form austenite. After the heat preservation, it is cooled slowly. During the cooling process, the laminar cementite in the pearlite becomes spherical, thus reducing the hardness.
